1987 Firebird

This conversion hails from Utah. Once finished the car will have a dual screen LCD dash, fully functional electronics and completely restored exterior and interior, as well as a few other trims. the drivers door is being eaten by rust, which is something that will need to be attended to, as well as finding the correct hood and interior center console.

The customer decided during the conversion, that he was not happy with his plain, all manual firebird. We added power windows, locks and mirrors to his car.

Hmm, so we have turned an '85 v6 base firebird with nothing into a max-optioned '82 Trans Am, what else is left? I got a call from the customer a few months back. Seems he spends alot of time wondering if an evail supercar would have prefered to have been a big block.... what am I supposed to say, no?

The customer has come up with a few very interesting ideas. We will now be adding a nitrous boost, airbag suspension and possibly a night-vision setup. this is surely to be our most highly customized conversion to date.

Block, heads and pistons are finished with machining, ready for rebuilding.

We built a custom airbag setup, modified from an
S-10 system. Now the owner can raise and lower the car, as well as operate each bag individually.
